Says standing a lot at work can be a cause of nocturnal cramps, so good to know my body is already being decimated by my job at 20

    Eat more salt. You are sweating it out at work. Happened to me. Never used to put salt on my food before. Work on a fishing boat changed all that. Good luck!

    I used to get these too, they are awful :( Waking up in excruciating pain is no fun. Are you taking magnesium? Most people are deficient and low levels of magnesium and potassium can cause these cramps. Mine went away once I started supplementing.

    So I used to get these and for the love of god don't just stay in bed and try to ride it out. When you wake up because of the pain just fucking jump out of the bed right away and walk around. Also eat more salt and get some magnesium supplements if you can.

      yeah i immediately woke up and was like "holy shit my fucking leg" and i started massaging it and it relieved the pain pretty well for the most part
