K (189?–?) Soviet pioneer. From Kazan, Tartarstan, USSR, K was diagnosed as a ‘transvestite’ in 1937.

She was given permission by the People’s Court to wear female clothing, her identity papers were changed to her female name, and her name was removed from the military recruitment rolls.

She was featured in a 1957 gynaecology textbook.

    Only time I've ever had someone comment on my voice at work was a 10yo who laughed at how "tiny" my voice was when I accidentally went into a really high pitched customer-service voice in response to someone with a really deep voice. Granted, I haven't really intentionally tried to do a particularly fem voice, but I suspect my voice sometimes varies from masc to queer masc to fem all within single meetings accidentally and has for a couple years.

      I don't think I ever even come off as queer masc to people. Like I'm not super masc and if I literally changed how my voice sounded, no one would question how I talk I don't think, but with my voice it's just like .. idk I can be in a dress and full makeup and I get he him'd. I figure it has to be my voice at this point
