apparently the universe decided the funniest outcome was everyone getting really excited he was gonna die, and then him not doing it and going on a national tour about how good he feels. classic comedy fake out.
Supposedly there's a good chance he has lung damage, but the virus never seems to do cool things.
The lung damage has me optimistic. If the virus isn't still actively doing god's work, damage to his lungs means inflammation. Corona inflammation goes beyond the lungs to the blood vessels, doing cardiovascular damage. Trump probably had a stroke during that surprise yearly physical and his diet is akin to a hyena's so that system is compromised and more prone to failure. With any luck, that's the straw that breaks the camel's brain.
Yes, they gave him antibodies from someone who already survived the virus. (Not baby stem cells like some podcasts like to repeat, wrongly.)

It’s basically taking the antibody cocktail from someone who survived it, finding the best one among those and growing that up in another “factory” cell line, the most popular coming from aborted fetal cells (HEK293). There’s also a “humanized” mouse antibody in that drug too.
The company that made the antibody cocktail does not use embryonic stem cells.

They’re not bleeding that person dry, they extract the antibody gene from their B cells and put them INTO another, separate cell line. Oftentimes, that would be a cell line like HEK293, which was immortalized in the 1970s from aborted fetal kidney cells. At no point did I mention ES cells, which are totally different. I know this because I work for an antibody production firm.
The antibody is not derived from aborted fetal cells, but they play a role in the pharmacological development and expansion. Either way it doesn’t matter, I agree I find this whole “oh trumps a hypocrite for using aborted baby drugs” when the vast majority of drugs in the last 30 years are developed or tested with the help of things like HEK cells.

I mean he was doing pretty shit until they gave him the brand new never been tested yet antibody cocktail and steroids, then he recovered unfortunately. My country is one of the main manufacturers of the steroid (dexamethasone) and it's one of the reasons why my country has a really low death rate for confirmed cases, that stuff really works in inhibiting the ill effects of the virus. Dexamethasone reduces your chances of dying by 33% if you're on a ventilator, and 20% if you are on supplemental oxygen. So as soon as they pumped trump full of steroids his chance of dying went down by 20%. Combine that with the experimental antibody cocktail and the current result of Trump doing rallies happens.

They shut down the fucking virus protection plans because they were fucking paranoid they'd get found out.
