They've already pivoted to "of course she's not progressive, only Mike Pence has ever said she is in an effort to trap her. Actually it's kind of racist to assume a black woman must be progressive"

Not an exaggeration, I need to get the fuck off of Twitter

It might be instructive to note that the lesser evil argument for voting for a democratic party candidate has been going on longer than they've been alive. Look where it got us.

I seem to recall this argument for dukakis, clinton (it wasn't easy getting dems to vote for a republican), gore, kerry, clinton 2.0 and now biden. Obama is the only one that was actually exciting enough that the party didn't have to tell people to lay back and think of god and country.

And of course, there's that famous quote from Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72 about this same dynamic

Her most charming trait is when she laughs dismissively at any mildly difficult question that's posed to her. That'll do wonders for her presidential ambitions.

Yeah Hillary somehow comes off as more genuine somehow. Even her "pokemon go to the polls" is less cringy than basically any sentence uttered by Harris.

rated you as the MOST LIBERAL senator

The reporter said that in such an accusatory way, it almost felt like she had the same contempt for liberals as Chapos lol.

In fact you were rated the MOST LIBERAL poster on Chapo dot Chat. Do you care to respond to these shocking allegations?

Holy crap that interviewer is absolutely horrible with the right wing framing of the questions, trying to make socialism the literal devil. Kopmala is horrible too

This is why liberals love her. She's a "tough on crime" Dem straight out of the 90s who scoffs at protesters, progressives and anyone demanding something better. She's the perfect politician for those middle class, smug assholes who just want to go back to the 90s when everything was great in the Clinton era.

It's time to rename socialism and progessivism to "things that are good actually" The reactionaries will never see it coming.

This is seriously a good idea. Maybe start the "Actually Good" party? Maybe something with a slightly more serious name, maybe not.

"I will give Biden my lived experience" the climate will love what she has to say about her lived experience, cancer patients will appreciate her sharing her lived experience as Joe Biden says a public option needs to be dropped for bipartisan consensus on healthcare.

Remember when she said she would get rid of private insurance companies not once, but in two seperate debates and walked it back both times right after?

ok sure, i can expect her to do that to socialism, but progressivism? geezus, fucking no spine. She sold her soul to the party, suddenly she wont be for Medicare for All or any substantial environmental regulation.
