Thanks Bernie. It took a real organiser in chief to destroy your own project in favour of supporting a right-wing rapist who can't even win the election meaningfully. That man in your audience who you said wouldn't have to kill himself over his medical bills will now have to kill himself over his medical bills.

Yeah you have to appreciate the scale of the enemy. We can't rely on old men to hand us a revolution. Bernie and Corbyn couldn't even defeat their own parties. Imagine being in charge of the entire government. The establishment would have went scorched earth and eradicated all traces of socialism. I know it's pessimistic, but the realities of trying to hold together a revolution would have become terrifyingly apparent had they won. It wasn't the time. We weren't ready. But we're getting there.

He might become labour secretary. Maybe. Idk. It's a possibility if he's really loyal this time. A big ole' juicy carrot right there if he just runs a little faster to catch it.

Look at the so-called tolerant left trying to break up a friendship between Bernie and Joe the Rapist. You just want to inject toxicity into their mutually beneficial alliance which only benefits Joe the Rapist.

I reckon they don't care enough about the left to actually do so, but perhaps they'll put Bernie in there so they can use him as a shield for bad policy.

"Yeah we're repealing the minimum wage, it happened under Bernie's watch do so you have to like it"

Similar to using Obama to get libs to fiercely defend Romney-care.

That's dumb because it assumes the reason Bernie failed is because he is sinister on a personal level. In reality what seems most likely is that a long time ago he bought into the notion that entryism was the most viable means of taking power for the American left and since then he has been constrained by the logic of that approach (and who can blame him exactly? Every other approach has been basically a failure in the past several decades) . It's not like another "Bernie but not evil" could be more successful by doing the same thing but with pure motives or whatever.

Bernie turned out to be the most dangerous wolf in sheep's clothing. NOBODY other than this obscure website link saw him coming. Many leftists are still in denial that he's a sheep-dog/grifter/wolf in sheep's clothing/charlatan whatever you wanna call him. I am 100% certain he doesn't give a damn about anyone and he perhaps hasn't for decades. Maybe he cracked after grinding in obscurity for so long maybe he was always evil.

I think he started out pure in the early days of being a mayor. Living-in-a-syrup-shack Bernie is the kind of dirtbag leftist I can look up to. Where I think he failed was in the Senate. Even if he was trying to do the right thing the most he ever represented was a protest vote and social democratic legislation that served a neoliberal party. If a socialist caucus existed I think he could have been a nice voice within that caucus but when it comes to national leadership he strikes me as someone who became institutionalised by 2016. I don't even remember if he got real concessions out of her. If anything really fucked him it would probably be the compounding pressures of that decades within the political machine and being blamed for Clinton's loss. 2020 Bernie came out of the gate denouncing supporters like us who dared to be mean to the party loyalists actively ratfucking him. That was where I immediately doubted his potential even though I should have seen it in 2016.

i disagree, i never miss a jimmy dore video on youtube. he's been vocal about being a 3rd party voter since 2015, then he went to being angry at bernie around 2017 because bernie wouldn't come on his show but bernie did go on other youtube shows (LOL). he didn't start calling bernie a sheep dog until the start of 2020 and he's the one that opened my eyes to bernie and pointed me to this obscure article from 2015: https://www.blackagendareport.com/bernie-sanders-sheepdog-4-hillary

yep, and with a GOP majority, Mitch McConnell can basically say "yes or no" to each of the cabinet positions which are confirmed by the Senate.

And instead of playing hardball and maybe leaving a position vacant, Biden will simply acquiesce to Republican demands every single time

Or just abusing temporary appointments and going around the system like Trump.

If the republicans whine the say that the country needs to be governed and Mitch McConnell refuses.
