As you could probably guess from my username, I'm a pretty big fan of getting high as shit and watching Godzilla movies. Some of my favorites are Godzilla vs Destoroyah, Shin Godzilla, Godzilla vs Biollante, Godzilla 2014 and many others. The Revenant is also fantastic while high especially if you have a good tv and good sound. The fact that it was shot on location with 100% natural light makes it a gorgeous film to look at. Other stoned favorites of mine include Scorsese's Silence (2017), Mad Mad Fury Road, Predator (original of course), Jurassic Park, Hereditary, Annihilation, Ex Machina, Apocalypse Now, Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049, Akira, The Ghost in the Shell (original anime), Princess Mononoke. Romeo +Juliet (1996) is a movie I watched while stoned recently and I fuckin loved it.
What are some movies you feel are even better when you're high?
All the Hayao Miyazaki movies are great while stoned, esp. Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle imo
yes, seconded!! cannot agree enough, it is the top tier movie to watch high as tits.
I love Jackie Chan and especially so when high. Project A is my favorite of his but all the Supercop movies are great too. You can't really go wrong with him except for his american work.
Ralph Bakshi's Wizards. I have yet to watch it not on psychedelics and never will.
If you like Mononoke then I have to rec Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Old school Miyazaki.

Spring breakers is a great movie. It's not the cleverest plot of all time but it has a great atmosphere and is definitely worth a watch.
That movie is definitely not what I was expecting it to be. The ending actually made me kinda depressed.
Any of the Monty Python movies are pretty good since they're already pretty silly. Holy Grail is a favorite. On a similar note some Terry Gilliam movies are also good stoned since they're pretty visually interesting.
Brazil is a good one, along with Time Bandits, Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
I can pretty much quote the Holy Grail word for word. The scene with the peasant is one of my favorite scenes in any movie ever
lol. Same here. My dad was super into British comedy for whatever reason and we always watched it together when I was growing up.
Monty Python and stuff like Red Dwarf, Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy, and Black Adder really shaped my sense of humor.
I didn't get American psycho before watching it high so I'd recomend that.. on the flip side, watching og star wars high really shattered some of the magic those movies had from when I was a kid, so I'd argue against doing that
