Saying that Brie encouraged people not to vote for Biden is a gross overstatement. She brought up the possibility of the left withholding their vote as a tactic of moving Biden to the left, but obviously that didn’t really catch on. But she never really advocated for people to not vote for Biden, and in fact on Bad Faith she had on people like Marianne Williamson and Michael more who I thought made the only even slightly compelling arguments in favor of voting for Biden.

I also find it extremely telling that Brihanna gets so much vitriol from mostly white people. Especially considering they seem to never attack Virgil. In fact, the whole thing about the Chomsky episode being a “debate”, Brie keeps saying that she was trying to have a discussion. VIRGIL is the one that keeps saying that it was a debate that they won (obviously a joke). I mean it could just be that they attack Brie more because she’s more active on Twitter than he is, but I just think it’s interesting that these people that always pull the IDPOL card seem so obsessed with attacking a black woman.

...And post-election Brie basically said, "Biden's been elected? I don't have to hold it in anymore?? FUCK JOE BIDEN HE'S THE QUINTESSENTIAL OPPRESSOR OF BLACK PEOPLE HERE'S WHY." So she had been going as easy as possible on Biden precisely to not spoil his election chances against Trump.

But even tepidly questioning Biden is tantamount to supporting Trump. Voting for Biden is fine, but fuck the Bidenist voter-shamers.

In addition to this, another reason she is criticized particularly heavily is that she has a legitimate political career. Compared to other people in the leftist media ecosystem, she's worked at a high level on a major presidential campaign and is likely to do so again in the future.

It's certainly not just white people going after her. Attacking Brihanna is the favorite sport of the KHive at this point, though while we call everything an op I honestly do feel like a lot of the KHive is manufactured. At any rate they're essentially just providing more examples of why the podcast has a perfect name.

For the record, Virgil probably doesn't get attacked as much because he barely talks during interviews and panels. Brie is very much the driver on that show and she is fantastic at it.

Good point. Not many libs even know Virgil but Brie has been a focal point of their irrational hatred for a long time now.

Hilarious this is happening while all the twitter dorks are getting worked up over the DSA calling destiny a fascist. That's beyond the pale but this shit is fine apparently.

Tbf I haven't seen anything as egregious from lefty Shoe as I have from the other two. I don't trust grifters like her, but they're can be useful weathervanes. When they come over to your side, you can know that they're convinced the wind is blowing your way for the moment.

Yeah that's the best you can say, the fact that they're trying to get on your bandwagon says your bandwagon is worth getting on. What's fucking absurd is they think they can join today and dictate terms tomorrow, like no motherfucker you are on the bottom rung.

Not that it makes any difference towards the impact they have, which is realistically nothing cause the internets not real in terms of actual impact these people want to have, but having seen bits of vaush when he was starting I think he's just terminally online/lazy with an insane parasocial relation with Destiny, and shoe I think is just genuinely stupid to the point I don't think she can be malicious or cynical.

No, she's only "pro Trump" because she's anti-Biden. As usual, these idiots have literally no nuance at all and think "If you're not 100% behind Joe the Rapist then you MUST be working for Trump!"

I find the "left" (and I mean libs/Dems) operates on this "logic" more than the right. The right seems okay with you hating both Trump and Biden, and take it as a "win" that you don't like Biden.

It is part of a larger project to force trans people out of society entirely, but I agree that, in itself, not really a big loss.

No idea about any "ally of the left" shit. Doesn't sound like something she'd say though.

Why the focus on BJG? What exactly does she represent and how much gravity does she actually control? She kind of sucks really, and I don't see her having any real long-term sticking power in left spaces so I don't get it.
