Here's a throwback from Posadas.

Just a reminder of the people we're fighting for because they are abandoned and left to die by everyone else.

I'll never get over how disingenuous Warren is. I think of her time at the Heritage Foundation before changing to the Democratic party. How at the 2020 debates she offered to go to the rose garden every year to read the names of dead trans people instead of offering the barest minimum of healthcare that would prevent a lot of those deaths. I remember how she used the excuse of a grieving period to avoid giving Bernie an endorsement while she went on SNL (pictured).

She represents so much that's wrong with electoralism and she is a perfect example of useless incrementalism. That she got so close to improving the material conditions of people all over the world and didn't even try speaks volumes to her lack of character and the disease inherent in the DNC.

There are of course worse senators out there, but I'd argue that her pretense of being leftist in any way does damage to the advancement genuine leftist policies and action.

Oh yeah. Once you see her as just another opportunist, her career path makes so much more sense. That whole consumer financial protection bureau gig was her dream job where she could"ve sat in the limelight taking shots at the banks without ever worrying about causing too much change. She must've been so pissed when Obama didn't give it to her.

Perfectly encapsulates the quote by Adolph Reed

"liberals don't believe in politics anymore, only bearing witness to suffering."

Kate McKinnon playing the piano on the eve of Trump's victory and liberals watching it with tears in their eyes is one of those "Trump years" moments people will look back on as wtf. Reminds me of all the comedy specials during the Bush years that people cringe at today.

Just thinking about the purported goal of persuading people to vote for your candidate. Do you think a right winger could be stirred to conceding that the guy in purple has had a rough shake at life? Statistically M4A was a >50% policy among the right wing. Do you think someone apathetic could be convinced to get up and vote in memory of people dying from lack of healthcare? Meanwhile I could be convinced of Hollywood pedophile billionaire conspiracies from how that snake goes on SNL instead of doing her part for actual change in society.

And sure, if you're the party of controlled opposition, the graveyard of progress, then it's a moot point. But this moment is so illustrative of the depraved lack of desire for a better future.
