Modern technology has no shortage of perils, such as alienation and harassment. It always baffles me how many people on the, at least American, left think that Catholisism is the way forward. I get it, you hate protestants, but that doesn't mean that someone who has a history of collaborating with a military dictatorship which was repressing lefitsts is the way forward.
The idea that liberation theology is something that can only be done while propping up a deeply conservative system is just electoralism but for catholics.
