Today's Empire rules but otherwise I've never been able to get into Propagandhi musically, either too pop punk prior or too prog after. Lyrically they've always nailed it. Leftover Crack has been ruined by being a crusty and they have the cringiest fans, Stza is definitely a fuck too.
Oh you're absolutely correct about Leftover Crack. Haven't listened to them in at least a decade, but those Parenti samples on the Choking Victim lp and some shit off of Fuck World Trade pointed me in the correct direction.
Those late 90's/early 2000's fast core bands probably did more but no one ever wants to talk about Infest.

Also when I when I finally listened to some Parenti much later my mind was blown that the sample came from him. Leftover Crack and Choking victim do have some great jams and some good lyrics despite the massive cringe and the Epitaph Records.

Panopticon. The US black metal scene was full of nazis pretty much from the start, and then Panopticon came along and now you see more RABM than NSBM. I'd love them for that even if their music wasn't great too.

Also Kentucky is a hell of an album. I love all his Panopticon stuff but that one gets me in the gut.
I like a lot of punk and political rap so, Propagandhi definitely had a lot of effect on my politics, encouraged me to look a lot of things up, helps that there music style changed as my preferences did as well.
But for favourite? fuck it im gonna say U. Utah Phillips, american folk musician, basically an anarcist hobo from way before gutter punks became a thing, the music isn't even that complex and his voice is just ok but the songs are great, lots of union songs and working class life songs.
He was also a great story teller, just an absolute great listen, theres nearly 100 hours of recording he did called loafers glory, story telling with songs occasionaly. I like listening to it when im driving, its really just nice and comforting in a way, hes like an old rad grandad telling you about his life and cool shit.
Nausea is probably the only one with multiple songs in my playlist that I consider purely leftist.

I've pretty much heard all of those bands. I'm more into street punk hardcore, beat down etc. I never really got into crust but if you can find a band that can really get me going I'm all ears.
Check out Skaven if you haven't. Also Lachrymose which is most of Skaven with Dino from Dystopia on vocals. They're both amazing.
For streetpunk related stuff, do you like any noisier stuff or dbeat? How bout UK82 stuff? I could work with that. Swankys, Gai, Confuse, State Children for the original japanese noise boys. UK82 the classics are obviously Disorder and Chaos UK but check out External Menace, The Underdogs, The Fits for early catchy stuff...Sedition, AOA and Civilised Society for later thrashy stuff. Dbeat if you get you get, if ya don't ya don't. If you like Zounds there's a good amount of more out there 80s UK Anarcho stuff, Flowers in the Dustbin, Psycho Faction, Omega Tribe, The Mob(my favorite band). There's a whole bunch more I can get into if I think of them. As far as crust goes, if you don't like any of those guys, it's probably just not for you.
Thanks for the suggestion I'll give them a listen. Yeah I do like uk82 and oi! (The non-chud kind of course). Crust is ok it's just I've have a few bands that I might pick out a song or two from their catalog that I really like compared to other genres where I have a lot of faves in different albums.
