It’s actually not that bad honestly the vaccine got shipped mid December so like 20 days to get 5 million people vaccinated isn’t so bad. Still a long ways to go but at least we’re on the path now
That's true, but the real important milestone is when everyone who is vulnerable gets vaccinated. That'll still take way longer than it should, but not 4 years at least

Fair point, I guess I didn't think of it in terms of how large the U.S population is. You do have to factor in herd immunity and previous covid cases, so with herd immunity scale that to 70% of its original timeframe and then knock off 20 million people who have already had it as current science says contracting covid twice is extremely rare. Still longer than I would have expected although I do expect a ramp up
This can be both:
- A fumbling of the rollout. Places have had a year basically to plan for this and still fucked it up.
B. Not the end of the world cus the begining aspect was always going to be the slowest and as production & capacity for vaccinating increases so will the speed & number of people getting vaxed.
