As an introvert, it's when I realised that I'm just as happy being with them as I am being alone. I've never felt that way about anyone, ever.

Get outta here with that doomer crap, comrade. :Care-Comrade:

I didn't think the person I love would be who she is on first blush. Give people a chance and give yourself a chance. You'll find them.

If you're still with them after, 6, 18, 24 months, those are pretty good signs that it's not just a passing feeling. Those aren't just arbitrary numbers, by the way, those are important milestones where a lot of relationships start to fall apart.

6 was where most of mine stopped, has one get to 12, and my current one just passed 24 so I'm feeling pretty good!

When you can't imagine your future without them, practically speaking. Love is an inclination towards devotion to the person more than anything. It's not bulletproof but it's also very durable. That's been my experience.

What does it mean to be "actually in love" with someone?

The truth: you don't. All you can do is keep moving forward until one day it just kind of sets in.

I’ll ask what does it mean to be in love in the first place, or what is love?
