I like it too. Looking back they were at the worst from about the time when Bernie was about to lose to about a week after he conceded, but ever since they finished processing that event they've been on fire.

Of all the podcasts about engineering disasters with slides that I listen to, WTYP is one of them.

it is, I listen to all the eps. I love/hate the show. I don’t really like any of the hosts besides Virgil and maybe Will.

I like it a lot. I don't get too annoyed at it like a lot of people because it's just entertainment.

People get on their ass for being doomer after Bernie dropped out, but the doomers keep being proven right. sooo...

in the liberal frame, anti-electoralism is the same as doomerism

I was actually ok with them being doomer on that, I was much more bothered by their near total radio silence about the BLM protests.

I will always be grateful to the pod for being a huge influence on me and pushing me left. That said, I feel like they're past their sell by date. They were the perfect pod for that 2016-19 timeframe but the world has changed around them and I'm not sure they're keeping up. Personally I feel like everyone would be better off if they broke up. Virgil is good at mainstream politics stuff, his pod with Brie is good. Felix can devote himself to being a full time streamer. Matt... he's my favorite Chapo but the cushvlogs show me he desperately needs someone to bounce off of. Maybe like a history pod with Patrick Wyman. Will... I dunno don't care too much, maybe something involving movies?

Sean KB already indicated Matt should run in Wisconsin as a Traditional Workers’ Party candidate (sarcastically of course)
