    yes buses take up less space while driving and don't need to be parked outside of every destination, and in fact they can just keep going and taking more people more places while the first schmucks are still sitting in the library or at work or getting ice cream

    ... but have you considered that rain and pain?

        i'm sorry i just can't wrap my mind about this. there's just no concievable way with our current tech

        what if instead of buses communicating with each other to maximize efficiency in the huge existing transportation infrastructure we already built over decades

        we built a huge new network of honeycombed underground tunnels for teslas to travel at high speed without much risk

          underground rocket ships but they have little wheels that brace against the tunnel walls so they're safe
