My solution is just to watch it with the babies. Having kids cackle at some dumb jokes makes watching a kids movie fun, their laughter is infectious. I watched Avengers part whatever with my nephews and honestly had a good time even though it's total slop. Or maybe it was one of the Thor movies. I honestly couldn't give a shit.
