I honestly don't think so. Repubs of the establishment don't want him back. Last go around they thought the could wield Trump's nomination into what they wanted, but he was too unpredictable and unmanageable.
They only let him slide on the way out because no one goes punished in DC and no one wants to die on that hill-- they gain nothing by doing so. Just wag your finger at the white supremacy while sneaking Trump quietly out the emergency exit.
Even the conservatives want a "return to normal" Mitt Romney type so war crimes can be cool and normal again where the public is actively disengaged-- because the "normal" President has a dollap of cooth to drop a few rehersed one-liners on Ellen and Jimmy Fallon

They got a tax cut for the rich and a shitload of federal judges; definitely some stuff I'm forgetting, too. There are even those reports about how after Trump fucked up enough foreign meddling the intelligence state just started giving him bad information. And of course this all culminated in a conservative Democrat in the White House who's eager to work with the GOP.
They got a huge amount out of the Trump presidency, and they're smart enough to know he's the strongest candidate they have going into 2024. They want to win above everything else, so that beats wish list items like having a candidate you can take home to mom, or a candidate that doesn't need handlers. The only question is whether Trump will want to run again at 78.
problem is he’ll have a gun to their head. “support me as the Republican candidate or I’ll drop out before the deadline, run third party, and guarantee a democratic supermajority.” hasn’t he already thrown out the idea of the ‘Patriot Party’?
The establishment didn't want him to begin with. The difference now is he has even more traction because more Republican politicians are scared of going against Trump. It comes down to the voting base which still overwhelmingly loves Trump.
They will either run him again or find someone worse. Even the libs had a sinking feeling on election night when it was such a closely contested election, it proved that Trump is still a very viable platform for US politics. The capitol riot then made them realize that they can't just vote him away. He still exists whether he is president or not because his voters still exist.
Whether or not he runs again in four years will be interesting. I do think if he were to run again and lose, it would cause a breakup and reformation of the Republican party. If they win regardless whether it's Trump or not... oh boy. The key problem the Dem's have is that they literally put their worst foot forward with Biden. He needs an FDR level presidency in order to impress people enough to vote for him again.
The problem is liberals think their mere existence in the presence of conservatives is enough to merit them winning elections, because their strategy isn't about trying to make sweeping reforms that excite and please people. It is about just winning and holding office so Republicans can't, and curiously when they win, they think they couldn't possibly lose in the future. They just end up being seatwarmers. But then again, that is probably the idea.
he's winning in 2024 lol

Trump Is a fat man that only eats McDonalds. He has at best a 50% chance of being mentally well enough/alive in 2024.
Mentally well enough is no obstacle, and terrible people live forever.
Joe Biden has proven that heartily.

What are they gonna do if he threatens to run as third party if they don’t let him into the GOP primary at least?

We're talking about voting here friend. It's performative and pointless

You do realize it's literally impossible to vote for her in many states?
Vote for literally anyone other than the fash. Even if voting is performative, performing fascism is bad.

Write in Che Guevara you fuckin lib
I’m writing in the spectre of communism
I wrote in "The Girl Reading This" for an unopposed local position this past year might up that to pres next time.
That’s the spirit
Both are pointless and have the exact same effect, why does it matter which one I do
Dude this is an astronomically bad take. Like, it's so bad you can probably see it orbiting jupiter on a clear night
🔭
We have another recruit for c/roastme
Maybe don’t performatively vote for either fascist then?
But I like going into the little booth and filling in the bubbles
