My bad, my point was that the gender binary is boring and annoying even if you yourself aren't trans/enby.
Most RPGs will go so far to have armor and clothes magically change to match gender but Outer Worlds just had one pool of hair, facial hair, and makeup that you get to choose no matter what. OW was a little disappointing but that's rad as hell and I wish that was more common
I recently saw a video showing off the demo to A Long Journey to an Uncertain End. The character creation has gender agnostic body / facial features and you can choose your pronouns including a "custom" option. The demo is free on Steam so...
I don't think it's racist. It's just pointing out that a lot of asian games are into this cutesy anime aesthetic which leads to many male characters looking like teenage boys with weird hair.
Pretty sure the male characters in JRPG MMOs are more like bishi dudes with five o'clock shadows trying to look gruff.
The worst thing is thinking the beast races are cool but then you go to make them female and they either don't look like they belong to a beast race or they didn't even bother making a female version of the beast races
