My point was that they will find some completely avoidable reason for why they just HAD TO "compromise".

"We had just amazing plans, but then we had to abandon all of them in order to get the GOP to agree to pass more sanctions on Russia. Sorry"

Let's be honest, Biden isn't doing anything. This is all his staff. He probably doesn't even know who she is or where he is.

Trying to prevent climate genocide is doing a sexism/racism. The world must perish for Neera.

So Neera, head of Center for American Progress, will advance her own career at the expense of progress? How typical

Wow. Literally a lose-lose scenario with Biden fucking giving so much ground on an appointee everyone fucking hates. It was plainly obvious he was a terrible negotiator but god DAMMIT.

Keeping kid cages, bombing Syria, tossing out minimum wage hike...if you told me we still had Trump and that he just got banned from Twitter for term 2, I'd believe you.

Love how Democrats just grab activist groups by the hair and make them fight on behalf of ruling class garbage, then do nothing for them afterward.

Nobody likes this asshole, even many regular dems don't like her because of how crass she was and is. Why is Biden trying so goddamn hard, is it because 'muh diversity'?

My understanding is that NT is really good at raising money from the Clinton circles.

Yes. The Neera Tanden pick was explicitly to thank progressives for their work in electing Biden. If we don't push Tanden through, it will be a betrayal to all those progressives. Biden can't afford to let Tanden fail, or the left will turn on him.
