Just found that increasing my screen brightness to full makes the reflection on my glasses bright enough to completely conceal my eyes, allowing me to look wherever the fuck I want even while on filmed exams.
Wtf filmed exams I'm so glad I'm not a zoomer
Being a kid in 2030 is gonna suuuuck
What if you don't have a camera on your monitor? Also, you're not allowed to look away from your screen? I stare off into space all the time when taking a test; it's how I think :thonk:
Yeah as someone with ADHD I would fail every test. My test taking strategy back in the day was "hurry up and do absolutely as many as I can until my attention span wanes, then occupy my brain with something else for a while until I can get my focus back; repeat until test is done". Actually I took tests very fast but to a teacher staring at me it would look like "wow, this guy knows all of these and is flying through this...wait he's stuck...and now he's...doing something else? Oh, he got that one, and now he's back to breakneck pace. Must have cheated on that question!"
As always our learning tools are completely bogus for anyone with anything other than whatever the schools have decided is the "normal" way to learn.
When I'm in zoom I'm always concerned that the contents of the monitor would be reflected off my glasses.
The implications of this concern are more worrying than the concern itself
Listen, I'm just trying to play Fallout: New Vegas and not get caught.
you can also put some vaseline or something on your webcam to blur it
I was literally taught as a kid when I'm stuck on a question on a test, look up and to my writing hand's side as it somehow helps you think.
