Fuckin' called it. The media is going to make all its money off of the perpetual election campaign machine. They won't stop until the very earth itself is transformed into one giant, sentient :vote:.

      American democracy.

Lmao. 'Elect this right wing clown that was hand picked by your oligarchy, or pick this one that was also hand picked by the elite but is slightly less right'.

Georgia gave the game away by revealing they are 2k or some equivalent away from winning any given election.

this is of course bad and all, but its funny how liberals keep ignoring the fact that trump got the highest minority vote since nixon. If the republicans play it right they could permanently expand their base and become majority. Thoughts?

There's only so many people you can get mad about cancel culture and bathroom sickos while not giving a shit about governance. They'll be stuck with a minority, which, if they do gain electoral dominance, will heighten the contradictions in a big way.

I think a lot of people do not understand that at current trends this is likely the last time in the foreseeable future that Democrats will control the Senate if they don't add more states now. They might hang on to it in 2022, but they will lose it in 2024 because they will lose Ohio, Montana, and West Virginia. The GOP can win enough seats to take the House back through gerrymandering in 2022 alone. The Electoral College means that if the GOP can get within 6 or 7 million popular votes of the Democrats, the GOP will win the White House.

It took Democrats ten years to win back control of government after fucking it up in 2010. If the Democrats do not start delivering big time for people in the next two years, it will be a lot longer than a decade this time.

They will lose Georgia in 2022 and 2026. The direct connection between the Georgia runoffs and the $2000 checks that Dems walked back on, plus general Dem refusal to do anything, will kill any chance of either of them getting re-elected.
