There's nothing larp about believing gun control is antithetical to building socialism. The US' gun violence epidemic is a symptom of the crushing alienation of late state capitalism, a rising tide of right-wing hatred and racism, and the worst health care system (including mental health care) in the developed world. But ineffectual liberals will try to slap a bandaid on the issue by attacking the tool used to commit the crime rather than the reasons behind the crime, and in doing so, just so happen to disarm the working class, haha oopsie silly me!
Maybe there wouldn't BE so much right wing violence in this country (not saying that's what this case is, I'm assuming we don't know anything about the motivations of this particular shooting yet) if the left, hell even liberals, were as heavily armed as all shades of the rightwing, from grilldads to fascists are.
