Tossed it in a shady bit of grass and gave it some water. Hang in there lil friend <3
I revived a bee the other week, it was walking on this brick wall but not taking off and it was getting a bit cold, gave it some sugar water and it sucked it up and flew off! So cool
I love bees. As a little kid I used to pet them sometimes while they were going about their business among the flowers. And I remember if I got something sugary on my hands they'd always swoop in and start taking it, which is cool cause I was happy to share.
I've been seeing a lot of bumblebees lying around on the sidewalk, but they don't seem to be interested in sugar water. Does anyone know whats up with that?
I see lots of dead and dying bumblebees on sidewalks every year towards the end of summer, not sure if it's just some kind of natural worker die-off or if there's something more sinister going on. Either way, it's sad to see, I love the little fuzzballs : (
