People having an argument about whether or not they'll punish Bernie Sanders when they establish a dictatorship of the proletariat in the United States is the saddest fucking copium I've seen on Twitter.

just apply. i know it feels like cumming into an empty void, but you’ll get something. If you’re really content where you’re at then that’s one thing but it doesn’t sound like you are. There’s engineering jobs out there that don’t require a degree and would love to have someone smort. IE geotechnical engineering technician, you can be outside all day, take it easy when on the job if you want to and get paid a bit more than if you work in retail ( I think? I dunno how much you get paid it pays 18 an hour on the lowest end in Maryland) and have the opportunity to move up into interesting stuff. There’s so many jobs out there.

Trust me when I say this as someone with a degree from a top school, a degree is not as important as anyone on the left seems to think it is.

I feel you. It's easy for me to say but I don't even follow the advice. I'd say constantly move on to new jobs but I don't know your situation. Maybe you live with good roommates, have easy going coworkers you enjoy being around, an easy commute, w/e. Slightly higher pay doesn't mean better so you do what feels right. But if you feel restrained by a lack prospects, i want to tell you you're probably capable of doing and acquiring jobs that pay you 3x what you're making.

                        anyways sorry for being annoying.

                    until I change

You don't have to see it as an intrinsic part of your identity, it's not, it's the material circumstances that are holding you back from flourishing, but it's possible to change those.

Your job is not important but what you do with your time is. If you can extract value from your job, you empower yourself and the revolution.

In fact, i’d argue that the value an individual derives from work is intrinsic to Marxism.

peoples rants on twitter about stuff shouldn't be taken as actual policy solutions. if a communist revolution DID happen, I am sure the people in charge would not be as hap hazard about mass executions and incarceration as we all joke and shout about

Bernie has voted to kill hundreds of thousands of people. I don't necessarily agree with the others either, but an essay definitely isn't gonna do shit.

This whole conversation is terrible and pointless.
