No reason, just asking. Not that I would ever do this OF COURSE but the only washer/dryer in my apartment is coin operated and coming up with $2.50 in quarters every week is fucking annoying.

If you can see anything about a make and model of the equipment, you might be able to find service manuals and such online.

      A review...

      Great Key

Excellent quality product that does the job intended. I couldn't be happier with it.

Drunk hopeless here. Tubular locks are the easiest to pick.

Virtually all shitty apartment washers and dryers use only a handful of possible keys. Post the make and model, and I bet you I can find the key. Just don't use it to steal, 'cause that'll just make your landleech put better cameras in there—just get your money back and call it a day.

You may be able to open the coin reservoir with a lock impressioning device depending on what type of lock it uses. Then you can at least retrieve your coins.

You could form a political party , position yourself as a true alternative , archive a "Kingmaker Position" by taking one of the states (its 50 how hard can it be) . If you electors then hold the deciding Vote ,you can go into Koalition with the Side that offers to introduce 1 & 2 Dollar Coins... Then you will only have to survive the culture war and the Strip Clubs wraith .

I’ve heard that mexican pesos can be used in place of quarters. Not sure how true it is, but if it works 1 peso is about 5 cents according to google, so you could get a bunch of 1 peso coins and use those

Depending on the coin op system, there are keys that may allow you to run the system without inserting a coin. This doesn't work for all coin op systems though, so there may be no alternative.

I've seen a way on YouTube that involves putting coffee stirring straws in the coin slots, but I have not been able to get it to work myself.

I once lived in an apt with no camera in the washroom.

I tried the old donald duck method out of curiousity more than anything. I glued some fishing line to a quarter. It was possible to pull the quarter back out. I didn't manage it but it would have worked. I did manage to jingle the quarter in there giving my self dozens of quarters worth of credit before the string broke.

My next plan was to try some sort of mechanical adjitator to just trip the sensor and give phantom credit but I left before I tried it. One of those meme reflexology massagerw and a bit of wire ought tondo if they still use that same kind of comparitor

Non-digital coin boxes - the slot kind - will take pieces of copper the right size, but nowadays with copper prices so high it is not worth it.

There's a laundromat a couple blocks from where I live that has a charge card system, and I haven't been able to get it to print out the card. So coins it is. Ugh.

Don’t think it works on modern machines. But the ones where you slot multiple quarters vertically and slide them in together, if you use pantyhose/nylons under them, the coins register and then pop back out.
