They ran up to the court to do a photo op recently. Not sure how well the Senate campaign is going if this is the only way to get headlines anymore.
Rottenhouse is gonna be a speaker at the rnc for sure. He'll probably carry the same gun on stage with him as a prop to give a speech about defending America.
The kid's got all the charisma of a wet paper bag. It doesn't look like he's got much of a future.
Much like Zimmerman, he'll be swarmed by grifters (like Gaetz, whose only interest in Rittenhouse is as a fundraising prop) until people forget about him. He'll go deep into debt, trading on his celebrity. He'll wash out the back end of the system and be discarded, assuming he doesn't OD on fentanyl or kill himself while DUI.
There will be dozens of idiot kids to take his place. And I have no doubt we'll be back here talking about the next psycho teen mass shooter inside a year or two. But I don't envy this kid's life even slightly.

Is this a long time for a jury to deliberate? I am not familiar with court cases and I thought the Chauvin one was pretty quick.
They'll deliberate until their done. Could take another day, could take all week. As far as I can remember they go until either everyone agrees on a verdict, or they're absolutely certain that they're divided and can't come to an agreement.
I cannot overstate how much the Minneapolis Police Department is hated and how overwhelming and horrifying the evidence against Chauvin was. Totally different kind of case in a very different jurisdiction.
