Electoralism is dumb, but I'm just trying to remember if that was a thing just before Bernie dropped out in April.
Biden campaign was out there telling people it was safe to vote while Brrnie was trying to move it all to mail in ballots. They refused until he conceded.
Lmao the went this hard to stop the fucking compromise Still a capitalist, still an imperialist
A far cry from an actual socialist
Couldn't have people beginning to think they might have any power or hope, no matter how small
Given that was the event which radicalized me, I think the DNC blew their load too early.
I might be remembering incorrectly, but I thought they wanted to pin blame on Bernie for elections being spreader events by trying to hang on till the end.
Yes and he was most of the way out the door anyway. The Democrats were never going to budge and postpone primaries or anything like that to give him a chance since he'd already been far closer to winning than they were comfortable with (which isn't even all that close ofc).
IIRC they moved the primaries to mail in only like the day after he dropped out.
What a funny coincidence. Stuff like that just happens without anyone having nefarious motives I guess.
Both Biden and top dem leadership said it was "ok to vote" when Bernie was still in the race. Then after Bernie dropped out things started shifting. They literally sent people to their deaths. To me that's totally disqualifying me from ever voting for them again.
He was kinda cooked at that point anyways but it added to the pressure not to drag it out
Oh for sure I just remember centrist voltron/south carolina being done by the time covid was really dominating
What I want to know is how can any grownass adult fail to see these political moves as class actions?
should have pressed on, might have gotten biden himself with the rona though staffers.
