Damn I wonder what was happening in 1918, also it says right there party members were fine so...you do get your guns back if you go far enough left. Just a wet fart of a meme

Yeah but they just wanna :grill: with their guns. They don't actually want to DO anything.

No, it looks like they desperately want to kill someone with their guns. Half of the memes on the sub are people imagining scenarios in which they are legally allowed to kill.

commie gun nuts, to their enormous credit, imagine scenarios in which they are not allowed to kill but do so anyway :yes-comm:

What does a reasonable measure during a civil war in 1918 have to do with a Marx quote?

The quote also underlines pretty much what Marx point was. Not "weapons are holy", but the working class needs weapons, if you want to take it away from the working class you have to use violence to stop the oppressor. In the case of the civil war the revolutionary parties for all practical purposes were the executive body of the working class in party form. Which means that if you are part of the party it is fine to have weapons.

The only argument here would be how the transition of revolutionary parties to body of the working class goes. Vulgar marxist argued, it comes from here: communism is the real existing movement, and so on and so on.

With other words since obviously the civil war which ended up with a soviet republic did change the present conditions those that achieved it were precisely the communist movement. Which if we go with Lenin, who played part in the revolution as we know, were organized in the communist and revolutionary parties of the time. So 100% coherent in theoretical foundation and practical application.

No materialism from those radlibs, it'd be a shame if someone pointed out the root of their interests to do class betrayal

Only a few comments are from radlibs or fake anarchists/libertarians. The rest are from Chuds taking this as confirmation not to trust “the Left”.

    1. Все сданное оружие предназначается для Красной армии и поступает в ведение главного начальника снабжений, без разрешения которого никуда не должно расходоваться.
    1. All handed over weapons are intended for the Red Army and come under the jurisdiction of the chief supply officer, without whose permission may not be spent anywhere.

"Those mean evil dictator revolutionaries didn't allow the Loyalists to vote on rejoining the Empire" is my response to Libs who gripe about the DotP being (rightfully) enforced in Socialist states. Yeah, that's how revolutions work.
