The choice was Bernie or Trump. I don't think typical Dems grasped it when they chose not Bernie.
I'm still surprised, every day, that Trump hasn't started another war to try and assure his victory. I know there have been moves, did they try and couldn't justify it, or is Trump too lazy for war?
My favorite thing about the Trump presidency is when John Bolton was fired, claimed he resigned, and then Trump said something like "if I listened to that guy we'd be in five new wars." Funniest thing Trump has ever or will ever do.

Trump is still fundamentally a lazy coward. He wants to look tough without being in a position where he would have to commit to anything hard or could potentially lose. If he didn’t invade Iran in January he won’t do it when half the navy would get COVID on the way to getting vaporized.
he knows the more wars there are the more daily briefings he has to take and the more annoying phonecalls he has to make to grieving widows. This is seriously the answer.
I don’t know if foreign wars are the vote winner they once were. I think after two straight decades the American public is kind of sick of seeing their loved ones come back in coffins for no reason. Even the chuds are pretty against new wars at this point I think (although they still endorse hypothetical violence against brown people etc.). Trump ran in 2016 saying he was gonna pull out of Iraq right?

they both literally have insanely easy paths to victory but neither of them are willing to put in enough effort to do it.
Literally the first candidate to say, "Hey, life's pretty hard right now, want some more of them TrumpBux™? Vote for me." absolutely wins it hands down. It's the easiest victory in the world. Costs nothing in the grand scheme of things.
But they won't do it, because helping people is fundamentally against the desires of both parties.

Never underestimate Democrats' ability to piss an election down their legs, and Biden is practically the poster child for this.
If the election was held a month ago Biden would've probably won. If the election was held today Trump would probably win. That's why making predictions so far out is pointless, a lot can still happen between now and November
because that strategy worked so well for them last time. Tell everyone its inevitable. Demoralise the left and tell them you have no choice but to vote for us, then act surprised when they stay home but republicans turn out to register the protest vote.
Atm I've come to believe that if there is a vaccine, Trump wins.. This is ofc dependant on Biden's brain not leaking out his fucking skull..
I find it impossible to predict how this turns out. Both Biden and Trump are entirely capable of committing a massive blunder at any time. Maybe Biden has some TV appearance where he comes off like a walking corpse and says some racist shit, maybe Trump fucks up on some policy so royally that conservative independents turn against him en masse, both are entirely possible.
This election, just like the last one, should in theory be a landslide for the Dems. That the race is still open already proves how much they've fucked up. But i wouldn't put it past either candidate that he botches it.
