If this blows up it could be the first thing in months that actaully hurts Biden

Americans of all stripes and creeds don't give a fuck about foreign policy, but the biden team forgets there are alot of black Muslims in the US

Making the crisis domestic is the one thing that could actaully blow up in Biden's face

Americans are pretty slow on the uptake, but given time even they'll start to notice the dems are an openly racist party in regards to Arabs, Russians, Chinese, and immigrant Hispanics

There was a survey done by a Muslim think tank that claimed virtually all support from Muslim and Arab Americans have dropped for Biden shortly after the invasion of Gaza and he did nothing to even performatively condemn it

Mark my words, this election is going to be decided on which candidate is the most ghoulish against China.

Trump is going to say do you want sleepy joe to be in charge when we fight China?

Biden’s gonna one up Trump by saying he’s willing to launch all the nukes at a moment’s notice the moment China harms US troops.

There is no way Trump comes out on top of Biden over this. Trump is the kind of schoolyard bully who’s also a coward at heart who will back down when his opponent actually pushes back. That’s why he’s weirdly submissive to Kim Jong-un. Biden hasn’t given a shit since he beat up Corn Pop. If you don’t believe me go back and watch old Biden’s clips when he was championing for Bush’s Iraq War. The guy is a ghoul through and through.

Biden is a ghoul through and through. Just a minor point, but Biden did not canonically beat up Corn Pop, nor his crew of "bad boys." Biden would have gotten his ass beat

No. Corn Pop was going to beat Biden up because Joe insulted him while working as a lifeguard. Biden apologized to Corn Pop so he gave him a pass.

Edit: its not really clear why Biden thinks this is a good story to tell. He acted like an asshole while in a position of marginal authority, and got called on it by someone tougher than him. When confronted by consequences, Joe caves and applogizes for the insult. Corn Pop is magnanimous enough to choose mercy and not beat the shit out of Biden.

Yeah, from the story Corn Pop is a great guy. He let the arrogant 18 year old white kid who clown3d in him because he thought he could, get a pass since he apologized - even though he easily could have beaten the shit out if him.

Its honestly disgusting how Biden thinks its a story that makes himself look good. In his own old rascist mind, Biden is the "bigger man" because he "lowered himself" to apologize to Corn Pop. He presestes Corn Pop ("a bad dude, who ran with a gang of bad boys") as a savage who is bewildered at the concept of Joe apologizing to him. Biden does not present it as an act of mercy on Corn Pop's part, but like his "primitive" mind was shocked by the alleged magnanimity of a whites apology. Its pretty fucking gross.

This kind of discrimination is a trifle when you have to cover up a genocide.

I imagine the fallout from twitter getting mad means less to them than the fallout of liberals seeing opposition to Biden by minorities on live TV.

To Americans, twenty thousand Arabs dead in the Middle East is nothing compared to a minor but blatant violation of civil liberties of two American citizens

There is a certain phenomenon though... a cop can shoot a black person for no reason and they'll all just pretend there was a reason and not punish the cop at all. Meanwhile a cop can get caught on camera being like "lol yeah dude, I hate black people so much" and it's actually more likely they'll get fired. Even though it's a thousand times less bad than murdering someone for their race, it's bad in a sort of undeniable way. They don't have the cover of some life and death crisis, so they just fire them.

I don't think that's totally true. A lot of libs would be upset by this, but would support Isreal. They probably wouldn't care enough to not vote blue, but they'd care more about not appearing islamophobic while they support a genocide

I dont think there was this much deliberation. On the campaign's side you probably have people telling organizers to watch out for potential troublemakers, because they want a smooth event. A few layers below you have the people on the ground making the decision on which individual to let in and which to weed out and they aren't gonna deliberate much about the pro's and con's. They were told to watch out for potential troublemakers, they see a woman with a hijab, and they have to decide whether they want to risk someone protesting the president on live TV or have twitter mad because of the racial profiling.

And they'd rather have twitter mad over racism than have the president look bad on live TV.

A local smalltime Democratic rep fundraiser in my town kicked out the people sent in to disrupt, but overkilled it. All the pro-Palestine protesters were wearing N95 masks so they just kicked out everyone in the event who was wearing a mask (including several that didn't even attend with us but were just Democrat supporting boomers caught in the crossfire).

Imagine spending $50-$100 per plate to attend a gala for your representative who you have probably donated $2900 to already (you are a rich wine country boomer) and then you get kicked out because you decided to wear a mask

I hope Trump gets blocked from re-election and Biden still manages to loose to a third party. I'd begrudgingly take a libertarian at this point if it means the end the US wholesale supporting the occupiers of Palestine.

Libertarians do not really believe in anti-war stuff. Some ghoul would explain to President Private Roads that supporting Isreal makes line go up or dime shit and the status quo would be maintained

That's totally understandable. Its disgusting to see. Biden has always been massively pro-war, but no one who can become president in the US will be different though.

I remember them advocating to being less militarily active in the Middle East (though probably more as a cost cutting measure and to pay lip service to the idea of non aggression). I don't actually want a libertarian in charge but part of me wonders if it would at least be better for the rest of the world vs Republicans or Democrats.

I think it's probably just us-foreign-policy guessing that they're gonna disrupt the event to encourage him to stop the genocide. Better to just kick out the dirty brown people than be confronted yet again on supporting and encouraging genocide.

brump speech-side-l-1 "Why am I polling so bad with the Arabs again? I'm only genociding Muslim people and not letting people with hijabs in to my campaign rallies." speech-side-l-2
