Unfun fact: A fed infiltrating some radical group in TERF-Island actually went far enough to have a goddamn kid with one of the members while still being on Police Payroll

Not really. The point of black bloc is to make it harder for cops to identify any specific person in the moment. "Grab the one wearing, uh ... all black. she just chucked a brick" doesn't exactly work very well. If they want to go through pictures afterwards and single people out they probably can without much trouble.

Only app I’m on right now is Hinge, so I have this prompt “Together we could: Overthrow capitalism 🥰”

It’s actually gotten a lot of likes and I respond to almost none of them because I’m very anxious about meeting new people right now

Ive had a few cop/military types get ahold of me, but most ignore me.

the weirdest was this dude who lived in Indiana (I'm on the east coast) and would always keep trying to argue and fight with me

cop lover, had kids, trump republican type. but he still wanted my dick. verryyyyy strange.

lol do you seriously think the FBI is snatching up communists off Bumble? Honestly, come on.

How do you ever plan to achieve anything politically if you keep your beliefs completely hidden? How do you plan to build a strong relationship without openness and honesty about those beliefs?

OP: The only people you'll turn away by saying you're a communist is people a) would leave once they found later and b) you shouldn't date in the first place

I didn't mean literal actual feds. I mean very online chuds that dox people and then get other chuds to hound them for a LOT less than that.

Definitely hhappens but if you're not a minority unlikely. It's also very common to see people being openly communist on dating apps and saying such, at least where I am. Also also chuds dont know the diff and want to dox a liberal just as much as you

That's comforting to know. I've been married a while so I haven't experienced modern online dating to know what you know.

Fair, but I still wouldn't want to invite that kind of misery on someone unprepared for it. I've known people that have been driven to suicide over concentrated online harassment campaigns that started with something less incendiary than that.

In Britain MI6 agents regularly hooked up with members of leftist activists. Match.com dating sites collect a shit ton of your data. It's not that far from reality.

Definitely :gigachad: in my book. Look, if :fedposting: gives a shit about individual people identifying as communist, they already know you're a fucking communist. It's not hard. Unless you live your life with extreme opsec and basically only access this site over Tor, the three letter agencies already know (or could immediately know by checking their database) your political leanings.

The good reason for not openly proclaiming yourself communist is the possibility of reprisal and harassment by regular unaffiliated fascists. Possibly fascists lower on the totem like local cops.

Edit. Shit I should read the rest of the thread before replying. I see you are fully aware of that. Eh well. Leaving it up because why not.

I've been in an exclusive relationship right now for closing in on a year, but I more or less pretty much explicitly stated it in my profile and unless you're afraid of being doxxed/outted I kinda recommend you all do TBH. The "less" part comes in the sense that I firmly believe with dating profiles you kind of want to express a personality/flavor and be fun rather then just listing things out. IE rather then just flatly stating:

"I am a communist and would ideally like to date fellow comrades" I did a contra points reference in my profile and had the line:

"I hate when people call me a champagne socialist. I've never even been to the champagne regions of France and am therefore obviously a sparkling marxist." Had a pretty good reception.

Take one of your photos in front of your neighborhood statue of Lenin, or if you don't have one, just put a red flag in that chain of emojis people often do.

I had a red triangle in my profile for a while as a little wink (along with other stuff that was more explicit I guess) and then people would just assume I was a bottom because they have no idea.
