    I spent an inordinate amount of time lurking on Stormfront (not Reddit, the for real one) 2013-15. I was just shocked by it all - it felt like stepping in some awful bizzaro world. Anyway, Azov was definitely on the white nationalist radar then, it was probably one of the more popular topics I saw there. Those assholes practically worshipped Avoz.

    So Avoz has been very well known in white nationalist circles since the beginning. It would not surprise me at all if they have a base of support (money and everything else) from white nationalists all over Europe and North America.

    Edit: IIRC stormfront loved Azov, liked Russia, and hated the Ukrainian govt at the time (thought it was owned by Soros, I shit you not) so no idea where they land on the current conflict. My guess is they hope Russia will soften Ukraine enough that Avoz will be able to take over what remains.
