There certainly is a lot more mask-off demands for obeisance

Literally had someone tell me the other day that as a POC, I was obligated to vote for Biden

Which, let me tell you, is not the route you want to take with me

K bitch, first of all, all you've ever done for POC is put your dick in one. Sit down.

Second thing is my brown wife won't vote for him either.

Grrr i wanna go back and yell at him again

Usually it's post-election rationalization like "lol look at those poor Texans freeze guess they should vote democrat", but they're not even waiting for the election this time. Scratch a liberal and so on.

They love "justified" suffering because it allows them to stay idealists. "You're suffering because of your own personal actions rather than some systemic issues outside of your control" is the cornerstone of liberalism and idealism and so they'll always latch on to what they see as the most obviously "wrong" personal action.

Ukraine gave them a brief taste of what it feels like to drop the mask after years of repressing their latent racism. They have been finding it more and more difficult to contain themselves since then.

I can't tell the difference between the "left" or the "right" MAGAts anymore. Like i don't know if that's a sign of my political progression or theirs.

The libs have definitely progressed rightwards since COVID, at least in rhetoric. Policy has always been this way though

This is just an incoherent in-between step of them wanting Muslims to be punished (in the US) full stop.

The US is just a nation of “good cops” and “bad cops.” The good cops will politely ask you to vote for them, support their policies, accept your destitution as deserved.

When you refuse to accept, ask why it has to be this way, or ask if they could do a better job, the good cop will just shake their head and say “I tried to help. But it looks like we’re doing it the hard way” and walk away for the bad cop to come in and beat you half to death.

Yeah. White liberals always hated and feared brown Muslims -- in fact they were why the War on Terror was so bad for my family, the conservative racists were way easier to deal with (hint, through social violence to teach them respect). They're even worse about it now because it's their war criminal in charge, but they've always been racists.
