Rick and Morty was fine, but I wanted it to be as smart as Futurama...it wasn't, and that really let me down.
This doesn’t make it „smarter“, it’s a different creative direction. Rick & Morty has some genuinely good emotional moments where it sincerely shows how Rick‘s lifestyle affects himself and those around him, it’s what sets it apart from many other shitty adult cartoon comedies.
The show does actually unironically have a message, although it gets muddled a bit.
And then he digs up the corpses like 2 seasons later to prove dimensional travel, the show definitely does some fun stuff
It has its moments, but I think overall Futurama is a much more clever show.

I like watching Top Gear / Grand Tour, despite Clarkson being a massive chud and awful person (and Hammond and May I think are alright people but I'd be shocked if they weren't mostly reactionary too). Although I think 2 of their last episodes pushed me over the edge - the one mocking Stalin when they were in Georgia and the other when Clarkson was wearing a Che shirt and they had a movie in the middle of the show praising Americans in the Vietnam War. I'll enjoy past episodes but fuck Clarkson.

Alfonso Cuaron directed the third Harry Potter movie that's why it's the best. It's also one of the best books imo
