Biden: what can we do to make us even less popular with the working class?

Biden2: Let's ban everything that disenfranchised people like to use to cope with hellworld, weed, tobacco, and we'll crack down on alcohol next. After that, we'll make housing less secure, and then remove all healthcare and public spaces. Then trees.

fuck all proprietary vapes, but i wouldn't have gotten off nicotine if it wasn't for e-cigs. cracking down on vaping instead of smoking is a backwards, uninformed policy of action for action's sake, or outright done on behalf of tobacco companies.

oh look what the article has to say about this!

In FDA decisions over the last year, rival e-cigarette makers British American Tobacco and NJOY won approvals for their e-cigarettes

lmao so people will just have to buy extra cigs for the same fix? Regardless this will just create black markets and more people who roll their own

I used to smoke just for the rolling. It was honestly so nice to go outside and roll one up like cowboy Bugs Bunny.

Pushing smokers to spend more money to get more carcinogens while requiring more product that's even worse for the environment all to get the same high. Literally just a handout to the tobacco industry in legislative form.

Imagine banning vapes to push people back to cigarettes instead of BANNING CIGARETTES and pushing people towards vaping or quitting. Jesus fucking christ. The only logical explanation for this policy is to crack down on clocked-in nicotine poop breaks.

Lmao comrades I'm so fucked on this one. I don't even like ciggies anymore. Inshallah Philip Morris implements tobacco fascism and reverses this decision.

I believe you can still buy juice and stuff. Tbh, a battery, a good tank, and a supply of atomizer should maybe run you 30-50 dollars. I bought nicotine salt juice with another low nic juice and mix them, been going strong for like over a year spending 100 dollars.

Guess I need to figure this out now instead of giving Juul all my money.

You got any recs on atomizers & nic salts? I tried transitioning away from juul a few years ago but everything else sucked.

Yes, I do actually. The T18 tank is like 10 dollars and rock solid, https://innokinstore.com/products/innokin-prism-t18-tank

Atomizers are changed out based on how much you use them but I change maybe once a month and they're about 2 dollars each.

As far as nic salts go, I don't know what flavors you like and I'm not at home so I can't remember the exact brand I use. But my salts look like these https://vaping.com/vape-juice/nicotine-salts?p=1

When I get home I'll the exact brand, I bought them from a store though and if you live near somewhere that sells vapes it might be the best way to go. To extend the life of my juice I basically bought a 3mg juice and a salt, and I mix them. Lasts forever lol

As far as batteries go that matters less, but you could probably do well to just walk into a smoke shop and pick something. I like eleaf products just because they're reliable, but make sure you get a 510 thread battery not a mod

get a pod one like this:

          https://www.smoktech.com/product/pod_mod/nord-kits

i owned one of those and really liked it, now i own this one: https://www.vaporesso.com/vape-kits/xros2 it's great too

it's just like a juul except you can refill the pods, so it's really easy to use, simple and not complicated. just buy nic salts in the flavours you liked with your juul. i like menthol.

Good shit, thank you! This all looks way better and more juul-like than anything I tried back then.

I WILL TRY QUITTING TOO! MAYBE!

is nicotine alone a carcinogen? smoke is bad cuz it's smoke, but is ingesting nicotine any worse for you than caffeine?

Juul is a startup, not a subsidiary of a big tobacco company, right? If so that tracks.

Nevermind then, I don't know why they'd be favoring one tobacco company over another then. The others must have spent more on lobbying and campaign donations.

I imagine the intent is a PR-win, since so many middle school kids were smoking juuls back in the day.

Hard to explain fully though. Either way I have the worst juul addiction of anyone I know so my only plan now is to get thanos snapped out of existence. Tho maybe that's better than dying of a heart attack at 25.

It took me a few tries, but I finally managed to quit a couple of months ago. The chest pains were a big motivator, they're completely gone now.

Just stop now before you find something else to replace it.

      It's explicitly bad lmao

It's not for public health in any way shape or form, it's literally just because tobacco companies are whining that e-cigs are cutting into profits

Why would they then also be in favor of reducing nicotine in cigarettes, making them essentially worthless?

Also why would Philip Morris, who has the largest take in Juul, be in favor of banning Juul?

Lower nic in each cig means they have to smoke more for the same fix. They sure as shit aren't gonna lower prices because "the govt" 'forced' them to make a shittier product.

Ok yeah. The PR thing seems correct.

And then also given the other comments here, Philip Morris seems to be trying to position themselves as a "responsible partner" of the FDA. If the FDA says Juul needs to be banned, Philip Morris will take a hit, but will make up the loss from their other brands getting boosted. The reason they need to position themselves as a responsible FDA partner is because they want to be trusted both by the FDA (and somewhat the general public) as the #1 "nicotine quitting" brand, which takes some logical legwork given that they make their money off nicotine.

I'm not well versed in the machinations of this country but I can see that's kinda how it works..? Idfk.

Lowering nicotine isn't the same as banning nicotine lol, it'll just make people smoke more

Also, because they're not making as big of a profit on e-cigs as cigarettes might be the answer, but I'd also be surprised if Phillip morris isn't also the owner of 50 other brands of e-cigs
