You feel a pang of pain streak across your forehead reading this post. Every cell in your brain screams out in angony. Why do you keep doing this to your self?

    1. Do you wish you go back to the darkness?
    2. Keep reading I enjoy pain.

Joe Biden is personally against abortions and during his time in Congress said that Roe v Wade "went too far."

I've been shouting this for a while. He literally believes he will burn in fire for eternity if he defends abortion. Growing up Catholic, I can tell you that the fear of eternal damnation is a powerful motivator. It's not like protestant hell - you can't just mutter "but I accept Christ" on your deathbed and get the fast pass to heaven. There are all sorts of legalistic hoops to jump through and not even most Catholics make the cut. Best case, Biden is already looking at a lot of hard time in purgatory.

I've met Catholics who are pro-choice, but I've never met a Catholic at that "oh shit I'm going to die" age who was pro-choice. Gotta leave the world in good graces with the lord and all that.

Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, by their fruit you will recognize them.

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’

Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’ "

        Book of Matthew 7:15-23

If you believe that life and spirit begins at conception, that abortion is murder, and the bible cannot condone it in any practice, you could not profess yourself a Good Catholic (tm) while having the power to end it.

Entirely possible. A lot of lib Catholics are. Most Socialist Catholics are solidly pro-choice though, even if they might have personal thoughts about it that are mixed.

tony benn manages to make a good case for why religiously conflicted people should still support the legality of abortion

Most things that have the support of a majority of the population in America are fringe far-left issues in American politics

well that's because we want the sensible things like not dying in wars, the water not being full of poison, higher wages and less work, people to have enough food.

basically everything that a rational person could want from society

It is astounding how these people chastise what could be their strongest and most militant base. You aren't going to win over the "suburban voter" anymore. The ship has sailed. If that is the hope for the future we have no fucking future.

it is worth mentioning again banning abortion does not decrease the number of abortions it increases the number of women who die getting abortions.

literally all the ban does is succeed at killing women

Back in the day women from western Europe would travel across the iron curtain in order to get the safe legal abortions they couldn't get at home.
