Obvs this doesn't apply to all transfems but I kinda relate to this but Idk how to put it in words exactly since gender is weird.

The way I think about myself is I like being referred to and perceived as as a girl/woman but I don't fully identify with being a girl/woman. (and in some contexts, I'm ok with being seen as a boy/femboy as well).

Cisgender ideology also makes it hard to describe gender outside the conformist binary notion.

    [CW: /tttt/ Toxic Transphobic/Enbyphobic Nonsense]

Also, I don't know if anyone else here has browsed /tttt/ much, but I noticed that they are constantly validating non-binary identity as long as the term "non-binary" isn't used in the process.

I can see them say things such as:

"I wanna go on HRT, but I don't quite feel like I'm a woman, but I do wanna be more feminine than my male self!"

"Oh, that just makes you an HRT femboy."

"I'm a trans woman, but I don't mind people calling me he/him pronouns sometimes. What's up with that?"

"That just means you're based and don't seethe over misgendering, unlike those crybaby trans people who don't pass!"

And of course, posts like the one you put in OP are another example of this.

I literally relate to both sentiments that I gave in the quoted section, as well as the post in the image, but if I added "Oh yeah, and I identify as non-binary to convey this.", most /tttt/ users would be livid.

Hell, I even made a post about how I identify as non-binary, explicitly mentioned that I'm AMAB and that I'm on HRT, and I got multiple replies about how I'm a quirky teenage Tumblrina cis girl pretending to be trans for attention like they saw the word "non-binary" and neglected the rest of the post as soon as they got to that word.

I've concluded that it seems that they hate the word "non-binary" because they associate it with "cringy Tumblrina AFAB trans culture" rather than having an issue with whatever non-binary identity may manifest as in practice.

Thank fuck I stopped browsing /tttt/ and 4chan as a whole entirely.

Tbh Chan is the last place id suggest any trans person take seriously. Gender is silly but can also be important, however u feel about yours is based and p valid, fuck what anyone else’s says.

honestly, mood. like, presenting as male is pretty dysphoria inducing but like, it's not even the worst thing on earth? I'd much rather be a cute girl but also men are attractive and they look nice? I don't (well, for now. might change idk) really identify with cis women in this weird sense? like, no, I'm not a woman, I'm a trans woman. Actually, even the term "woman" feels weird to me. I'm still picking bits of eggshell out of my hair, I am a fucking baby. Trans girl feels way nicer to me than trans woman (which is funny, my childhood best friend who's been out as a trans woman for over half a decade now doesn't like the term girl and prefers woman)

I also like referring to myself as a trans girl or transfem over trans woman. I kinda consider myself a mixture of ~90% girl and ~10% boy atm

Death Classic is a deep cut. They should make another version of the meme with Live from Death Valley.
