Who could have predicted that the democrats were holding back footage showing their heckin' brave sheepdog capitol cops escorting the q-anon shaman like his own personal guards

Really telling how much of this is all just a big show by the democrats when supposed "insurrectionists" get just a few months in prison meanwhile protestors get years.

I can't talk about Jan 6th with my lib friends, it's too hard to take an angle without sounding like you're defending one of either the cops, the protesters, or the US government. Like my takeaway here would be arrest the cops too, but also there should be protests in the capitol building just with socialists instead.

I also can't talk about it because I was hootin' and hollerin' the whole time I was watching the livestream of them meandering the halls, which libs don't appreciate.

Yeah, absolutely. Like by all rights storming the fucking capital and smashing everything to shit should have been a thing to fucking celebrate but its hard to do so when its happening for the absolute dumbest reasons possible by a group of people who want an even more grotesque and draconian version of American fascism than already exists. At the very least: I do think its fucking funny as shit and I will die on that hill.

It's hard to celebrate something so baffling. The protesters themselves didn't know what to do when they got inside and just milled around doing very damage. The cops didn't really seem to know what to do either. They knew they shouldn't let them in but didn't really want to stop them.

It is an incredibly bizarre set of circumstances for a group to attempt storm a capital, the defence force to let them do so, and that group immediately lose all momentum upon success.

It's political action without coherent ideology. They don't know what specifically they want to achieve, just that they've seen storming the capital on TV.

            Exactly.

I tell friends I’m envious that these assholes, who could have just as likely been at an NFL tailgate, Hooters for happy hour or Black Friday sale, did something by all rights we should have been the ones doing.

            But for Universal Healthcare.

They did it because the cops let them and were on their side so it was easy. It would be a lot harder for a left wing group to do the same. If left wingers got through 1 door of the capitol national guard would probably open fire on the crowd

Jan. 6 completely flipped the narrative on police. The DEADLY attack on the capital because one officer tazed his own nutsack.

The guy who tazed his nuts was some Q boomer, not a cop. There was a cop that killed himself after, maybe a couple, and the one that got beaten and stabbed with a flag pole. There's also the lady that got shot, also not a cop

There was a black capitol cop who

        CW violence

        committed suicide

after posting a very long video to youtube where he talks about being unable to trust other cops, etc. That video is gone from youtube and I've never seen it discussed in the media.

I wish I'd downloaded the video, I foolishly assumed it would be big in the news but failed to consider that the democrats would of course lean into cop worship and avoid any real criticism of the capitol cops

she died, i don't think you send an agent to do that like that. it's too personal and too small-ball. I'd believe they egged her on and amplified whatever personal problems she had but her being a fake is too clever.

I think they're gonna pivot to "see look! Obviously this was all set up by the feds and Democrats! No REAL Patriots were actually in the capital, it was all a setup to take down Trump!"

I mean, some of them already have but I gabe a feeling it'll become the party line.

The footage that liberal media has been pushing is all footage of one side of the capitol building, where the cops tried to prevent entry. Other entrances had capitol cops standing aside and waving people in. This new footage adds context to those cops welcoming them in, then escorting people around. They were willing participants, because of course cops are unhinged fascists.
