This campaign is going to be so fucking funny. He is so far away from reality and how much people are going to hate him. Case in point, he is announcing on a VOICE ONLY medium, which if you have ever heard DeSantis speak is a very bold gambit!

He looks more normal than he sounds, even if he's lacking in both respects.

His regular "resting face" looks very bland and generic imo, which is normal, even helpful for a politician. But the facial expressions he often makes are anything but bland, they're somehow both strained and exaggerated. Far be it from me to criticize anyone for their looks, but this guys facial mannerisms can only be very off-putting to a lot of people.

Most people, given Trump's or Obama's or Biden's resume, could not win a presidential election.

It's a popularity contest with some small relationship to the fake version of politics that cable news built.

His voice isn't particularly deep and he still hasn't decided how closely he should emulate Trump's speech and mannerisms.

Holy shit what a hilarious intersection of just the absolute rotten cultural trajectory of America over the past couple years. Amazing. Also, I love that news outlets call Musk and other billionaires “moguls.” A fun, defanged word for rich people who just live off everyone else’s surplus value. Everyone loves a mogul, Kupo!

CHUDs are one of two people:

      1. The popular kids that pushed around the "nerds" and got away with it, and then use the GOP as a way to relive their glory days forever. These will be more Trump people

      2. People who were pushed around by group 1, but either want to find someone lower on the totem pole than they are or attack the left because they see group 1 in the left, as they are both "wrongdoers" of some kind. These are the DeSantis supporters.

Elon is too terminally online to know who his real customer base is. He thinks it is epic Twitter reply guys. And he was doing so well with his "you are saving the planet if you buy a Tesla" fraud.

I wonder if King Bazinga did this to spite :thicc-trump: considering he never posted again after being reinstated.

maybe if these two absolute voids of charisma stand next to each other, they might create a charisma black hole and suck in the entire right wing

A man entirely dispossessed of rizz. Unless the CIA sponsors this dude and hitsTrump with the heart attack gun, he's going to get absolutely torn apart by our wet boy.

This is such a bizarre move for him. Meatball is young! He has his whole career ahead of him, and he's risking it all on being able to beat :trump-moist: in the primary.

The only way this makes any sense is if the heart attack gun is real

His window of opportunity does seem small for someone so un-charismatic and unable to take a hit. He'll be out of office 2 years before he can run again, which is an eternity in US politics. No US Senate election for FL in 2026 when his governorship ends either.

Though the fact he is running this time makes me doubt it's the right call, somehow. It just seems doomed either way.

He had a meteoric rise and he likely suffers from the Buttigieg brain worms besides.

So he's going to shoot for the moon because that's just what you do when you're on your way up.

Trump is going to call him "DeSchmuck" on the debate stage and he's going to get all flustered and dip out of the race a few days later.
