I heard about this on ovarit earlier today. They're celebrating over there, because they're gross weirdos whose only real position is transphobia, and they're more than willing to support any right-wing asshole as long as said asshole is transphobic enough.

Hopefully twitter continues to die a slow and painful death and Elon has many super realistic nightmares about people laughing at him in public

Twitter signed a deal with the Daily Wire? Fucking hell. Hopefully soon libs will at least stop praising Muskrat for :soypoint-1: MUH SPACESHIPS AND ELECTRIC CARS :soypoint-2: now that he's taken the mask fully off.

This makes sense because it’s just billionaires allying. There’s tons of money in right wing media because it has such deep pockets.

It seems she's ony been there for half a year, so she got hired after he already had taken over. idk if she had some kind of "if i don't do this, somebody else will and it'll be worse" thought process going on, but yeah, the outcome isn't really surprising.

fr like it's great that this person discovered some morals, but quite odd that it took this long. I guess people are really, really, well trained not to think of the larger ethical implications of what they do at work.

Is it devastating news for Elon though? He'll just shrug his shoulders, put some Nazi in that spot and keep going

Remember when Elon's Twitter was supposed to collapse in like a week? Is that still any closer to happening? Any colossal lawsuits stemming from his stupid decisions in the making?

The site needs to explode yesterday

Twitter is probably going to go like RKO. Dragging on decades longer after it should have died before coming to a slow and agonizing death.

idk aren't you sick of that? it's like saying you're gonna stay on :reddit-logo: instead of using any of the Lemmys because there's more people. advertisers and feds sounds like a pretty resounding negative to me.

I wasn't talking about what platform I'd like to use personally, I want Twitter to go the way of MySpace or Digg and all the normies and corpos to leave Gab 2.0 for some generic new lib service

Having a huge platform that everyone uses owned by open fash types is Bad regardless of whether you and your 15 friends have a cool little forum or not

The best bet against Musk's Twitter seems to be a new hot social media platform grabbing all the attention and leaving only your racist :meemaw: on there Facebook style

It feels like hopium for Twitter's imminent collapse is the new "THE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN FOR TRUMP". Neither will happen but optimism for their possibility sure did generate a lot of clicks.

It’s in a Death spiral. It’s original thing, that musk paid 44 billion dollars for is massively reduced in value, and will not recover.

The 1/5th assed new business ideas will fail, and he will lose the lawsuits.

Currently Musk is claiming that 80 million people watched that “what is a woman” which is 3x what Avengers Endgame had in views in its opening weekend. There claims of popularity are beyond even Facebook’s lies about video.
