They needed to hire the largest scam consultancy to figure out they need rolling bins? Why not task a city engineer or planner to figure that one out? I guess NYC can't line pockets if they use the experts they already employ.

i think in the bottom they say the final design was done by local talent shrug-outta-hecks

mckinsey figured out that if you put bags of trash inside special containers with wheels, it might do something idk, man, you paid me only 1 million

    That’s it?

1.6 million to figure out they’re gonna use 96 gallon two wheeled totes that most municipal garbage programs in the US use already? Fuck. I’d have done the same thing for 500k. Two-thirds under budget and still got the solution. That’s a real win for the taxpayers right there.

How do we start HexBear consulting? Like, this is just a scam.

Are they gonna pay McKinsey another five mil to come up with "uhh, dumpsters?" for buildings with more than 9 units? Rolling out dumpsters just in time for rising sea levels to float them away.

      FUCK

Correction: apartment buildings with more than ten tenants don’t have to buy them, they can continue to throw giants mounds of garbage at the curb. Which is heeeee-larious because these bins are supposedly about preventing rats on the sidewalk, as the giant apartment building trash mounds do way more to attract rats than 1-2 family homes’ garbage.

        giant apartment building trash mounds

Wait, what? Is this real? NYC just throws their trash on the side of the road like savages? Actually for real?

What lol i thought there'd be some other mandate for big units! How often is trash collection in nyc? Those containers can fill up fast.

No no no, they need to spend more money on consultants to tell them "Uhh, Idk, make the big buildings buy dumpsters. And then you put like a fork attachment on the truck, just like every other city in this country. Have any of you even been to another city?"

The backbone of this city’s recycling program rolls around recycling on the sidewalks in shopping carts 24/7/365 and it took the city 1.6 million bucks to figure out it’s easier to move trash on wheels?

New York is a police state ruled by bankers, grifters, and the mob. It’s essentially Vegas except the gambling is glorified as a career and affects billions of people instead of one guy and his family

Yeah but no one in ... Idk 60 or 70 years could figure out to put trash in a bin with wheels on it? No one? And idk I'd imagine the mob could make money off of selling them these ingenious inventions since they usually have political ties and have ties to sanitation services as well (unless that's just a Hollywood/Soprano thing?)?

Look we are still traumatized from 9/11. All the state’s funding goes into NYPD submarines and NYPD intelligence agencies. But we’ll show Osama why we don’t have free health care or wheeled trash cans

By turning down the immediate capture of bin laden and then about 20 years later, 10 years after we've killed Osama in a different country, we leave all of our military equipment behind with our tail between our legs as Osama bin Ladens( rest in peace homie) military force takes over Afghanistan and becomes the new de facto government?
