this was the night Chapo Chat truly became /r/chapotraphouse

I am tempted to quote the words of the great Leonard Cohen, "I am guided by the beauty of our weapons"

    All bits aside,

Leftists shouldn't moralize about personal vices.

Leftist should at least have material and systemic analysis of "personal vices", but that's still probably still asking too much.

Well, consumerism is directly linked to capitalism, so idk if that really counts. What I'm talking about is the idea that a socialist government should ban stuff that people enjoy but doesn't harm anyone except the user if done in excess. Lenin was a bit of a prude in this way. Love Lenin, but this kind of attitude isn't something we should emulate.

Does moralising imply banning? And I didn’t know you were talking about policy. I think we should totally moralise about consumerism.

Not necessarily, and that is an important distinction to make between moralizing and banning. Go ahead and moralize about consumerism, I'm not going to get mad about that. It just gets problematic when people try to tie that kind of stuff into a broader framework of moral failings like "bourgeois decadence" that leads to things like being anti-gay.

The obsession with cumming op talks about comes from consumerist mindset, change my mind.

I recently took a full year off of cumming. Wanted to lock it in within my 20s. I wanted to save some money, stop buying tissues, and truly participate while abstaining, I kept jacking it with my friends, going to shows and orgies, just in an orgasmless state.

It didn’t make my life better, it didn’t make my life worse. I definitely saw how my hot jizzing moments would fit into part of a night, how cum and other substances can make myself and other people selfish and act irrationally, but it’s not like I didn’t know those things before, I just saw it more clearly. I also found that it was easy to fit into the pocket of cameraderie with other fucked up people, pick up on their energy and keep things positive for the sake of the vibe. The point being you truly can have a fun night with people without cumming.

All in all I think it made me recognize how cumming weakens the rigid framework that comprises your lucid self, and temporarily reorganizes it for better and worse simultaneously.

I recently started cumming on weekends again and while it is cringe, I really did miss semen. Don’t think I’ll be taking any more time off going forward unless I have kids. It’s fun to cum, even to excess. I did not miss unwanted pregnancies but that’s just the balance of the force.

This is revisionism plain and simple. Marx himself famously said that "any attempts to disarm the proletariat [of their vital essences] must be frustrated by force."

How can you in good conscience get on this forum and tell the workers of the world to expend their labor on a reactionary activity like cumming? To spend lesuire time cumming is the mark of bourgeois excess. Cumming does nothing but denigrate the revolutionary spirit. Satiating one's self with cumming breeds complacency to the capitalist superstructure that provides the 2d "waifus" you pleasure yourself to.

Please for the good of your comrades, retain your vital essences. Stay horny, stay angry.

Damn cumrade this criticism of OP's post is much more philosophically balls deep than the one I posted below. Should I have not been a lib and read the comments, I would not have dared sully the ideological purity with my revisionism.
