If you don't have balls of hair rolling around like tumbleweed in your home you're doing long hair wrong

Tons. Long hair gang, but my comb probably pulls out close to 50 in a single shower now, and then I shed random ones during the day.

When I first started transition and grew my hair out I was really worried about all this hair coming off my head all the time, but it's fine generally.

According to the American Academy of Dermatologists, it’s normal to lose anywhere from 50 to 100 strands of hair per day. For people with longer hair strands, losing them may be more noticeable. Since there are 100,000 hair follicles — or more — on each person’s scalp, the loss of 100 or so hair strands a day doesn’t make a big difference in appearance.

on shower days you tend to shed a lot more than on days when you dont wash your hair. if you go a while without washing your hair you're going to get a whole bunch, in my experience

About 100. If you wash every other day, you're gonna lose like 150.

If you have longer hair and you didn't before, it's gonna be more obvious but it's still the same amount.
