Reddit allows you to view removed threads by visiting the poster's userpage or a direct link to the thread. It doesn't delete them, it just removes them from visibility in hot/new/frontpage. A reddit removal just removes all organic methods of finding a post. Except in the case of self-posts where removals also hide the text of the post too.
lol just on old.reddit which for some reason doesn't filter out those removed threads.
Redditors hate reddit 2.0, therefore it's good. Simple maths.
