My wife and I are going on an international vacation and will be in the air through election night and into the next day. It's on a Boeing, so assuming we don't crash it's going to be our own little sanity preservation chamber. Hoping that we can make it through the whole two weeks without even hearing about the results.

election season is every 2 years and most of my life it lasted for 4 years, but now that all the elections are stolen/challenged, it's more like 4.5 years with recalls reducing the season to like 1-1.5 years.

We can push the Dems left after that election. It’s important to vote blue no matter what in ‘26 because Glorb Shitto is pushing for horrible policy. ‘28 is president year, and we gotta Vote Blue and never question.
Maybe in 2030 if the Republicans aren’t trying to take away rights.. we might be able to slightly nudge the Dems left, but politely, and after informing them we we’ll still vote no matter what.
