Does Disco Elysium have therapeutic properties? Does conducting internal monologue to myself in the way Volition talks really help or am I imagining it?

      If it helps, it helps

Any piece of art, good piece of art, is gonna touch the viewer/reader/listener/player and DE is very good. There is no surprise that its helping you work through some stuff, art can totally be therapeutic. Plus it touches on some stuff we don't see often explored in the medium for games that jump to mainstream, substance abuse, communism, optimism in the face of hopelessness, justice (real justice), loss and grief and the terror of opening a binder and reliving a break up again after how much it hurt, etc you know why it's good and unique already lol
