Scarily open shit. And not a single word about it in the media. So the liberals are just ok with badge-identifiable State political murders before they've even tried taking them into custody? I knew the day would come but I didn't realize we were there already.

To be fair, the New York Times just released an article on it on the 13th basically confirming it was a hit.

Literally what started the George Floyd protests.

True, but this was like a cartel hit with multiple witnesses. Almost purposefully sloppy. Idk, crazy times and a crazy place to live in

EDIT: Also, I know the US has been far more brutal than pretty much any other force in history, just saying they're usually a little less open about it within its borders

Garrett Louis, who watched the shooting begin while trying to get his 8-year-old son out of the line of fire, said the officers arrived with such speed and violence that he initially assumed they were drug dealers gunning down a foe — until he saw their law enforcement vests.

“I respect cops to the utmost, but things were definitely in no way, shape or form done properly,” Mr. Louis said.

Jesus Christ, what a fucking thing to say.

I mean yeah ACAB but in that situation I’m not trying to leave my son fatherless after seeing what they’re capable of. Especially not so some newsfuck can get a zesty soundbite. Look at what they did to they guy who filmed Eric Garner.

It's not OK to make fun of someone's addiction, even if it's an addiction to the taste of boots.

How much could a good lawyer make out of this? The dead dude's family vs the state.

In Communist China, family members report on each other and are often executed for insufficient loyalty to the state.

But the video is public, they just show up 15 pigs and shoot him 79 times, plus the dead dude was white, that has to stick.

I'm not sure if you understand that it's just legal for American cops to kill people. I'm not talking about selective enforcement, I do literally mean that the law dictates that police officers have the legitimate authority to summarily execute anyone, at any time. It's not going to "stick". There's nothing to stick, and no one for it to stick to.

The Feds can refuse to hear the case. They did it to Al-Awlaki's dad before they assassinated al-Awlaki. His dad tried to file a suit to get the government to stop trying to assassinate his son and the courts just said "nope, fuck you, you have no standing".

I can't find anything off the cuff, but look up Anwar al-Awlaki's dad and his attempts to sue the government to stop trying to assassinate his son and grandchildren.

The people always take more than they should. What was it that Twain said about The Terror being a single drop of blood that finally washed away the bloody torrent of millennia?

    • the_river_cass [she/her]

THERE were two “Reigns of Terror,” if we would but remember it and consider it; the one wrought murder in hot passion, the other in heartless cold blood; the one lasted mere months, the other had lasted a thousand years; the one inflicted death upon ten thousand persons, the other upon a hundred millions; but our shudders are all for the “horrors” of the minor Terror, the momentary Terror, so to speak; whereas, what is the horror of swift death by the axe, compared with lifelong death from hunger, cold, insult, cruelty, and heart-break? What is swift death by lightning compared with death by slow fire at the stake? A city cemetery could contain the coffins filled by that brief Terror which we have all been so diligently taught to shiver at and mourn over; but all France could hardly contain the coffins filled by that older and real Terror—that unspeakably bitter and awful Terror which none of us has been taught to see in its vastness or pity as it deserves.

I log off for one day and trump orders an extrajudicial execution without arrest, charge, or trial against a guy for shooting a fascist who was currently attacking him.

hoo boy, welcome to the end comrades. fascism has truly arrived and liberals refuse to even acknowledge it's here
