I went to an event last year to celebrate the 40th anniversary - they were screening Alien, Aliens and Alien 3 back-to-back on the original first release 70mm.
What with the first film reels being 40 years old, it was pretty scratchy and colour-degraded, but a cool experience nonetheless
Hereditary was one of the only horror films that required me to take some time to decompress before going to sleep that night
Personally, while the second half is well done, I found the family drama to be the scariest part of the movie. Watching this family be torn apart after tragedy hurt me especially during the dinner table scene
Of course. The visit to the party and the aftermath was one of the most horrific scenarios to imagine
Ironic: Cabin in the Woods
Non-Ironic: Evil Dead 2
Just rewatched evil dead 2 a couple days ago, still groovy as ever and it’s my favorite of the trilogy
there was this movie came out way back in the seventies about a wealthy "eccentric" that lures a bunch of folks into an industrial building and then kills them off one by one.
has one of the most iconic musical horror scenes of all time in it
Green Room. Might be more thriller than horror to some people but it definitely gave me some spooks. It's punks vs nazis.
The green room was great! I loved the inclusion of jiu jitsu haha it seems rare to see that kind of self defense in horror
