    you can plant hella shit in just the most basic soil and it will be way better. water works for a couple of growth cycles but it loses most flavor and nutrients. It's good in a bind, but a little bit of soil goes a long way. Green onions also grow super fast, just keep them near light

    Thanks for reminding me I have to clean my disgusting-ass countertops. My landlord hasn't come by for a while so I'm probably due for a surprise visit.

    I have a pot of Basil that I stick in soil and I take the leaves from it to flavour stuff. They are called Bertie and they are big and beautiful, folks.

    You can also keep fresh herbs refrigerated and out of the container, but wrapped in a little moistened paper towel.

      You can also keep spinach fresher longer by keeping it dry by putting a paper towel in it.
