we have growing homicides to prove it.

The ex-cops are killing people while out of uniform now? For shame.

Libs and CHUDs combined make up the majority of the voting public, though.

Oh yeah, there's absolutely no problem with a future society where more people are incarcerated than aren't, as long as we call it socialist, and call the prisons re education centers.

I wonder if this is a false dawn - anyone that applies to replace these officers will probably be even worse scum who are specifically joining to throw down with protestors.

But hey these guys shidding their diapers and running home to mommy is nice.

Cops are regularly found to be KKK, proud boys, white supremacists, and all other kinds of filth.

Sure there will be filth that replaces them, but what you’re saying almost implies they aren’t already tied to these extremist groups.

I don’t see what’s so hard to believe about the premise that the least racist least violent least militant cops would be the first ones to get disillusioned and bail, and that replacing them with even worse assholes is bad. There are no good cops but there is some possibility for relativism here. Some pussy beat cop who might hesitate to pull the trigger on a protestor is an improvement on some psycho who literally joined up during this wave of unrest specifically to harm protestors.

Or the most racist and violent cops don’t want to to work in Seattle anymore so they’re moving to other places where they won’t face any pushback.

How can you look at this picture and say, "yes, this is a normal healthy community"? It's like a prison camp, with heavily armed guards making sure the inmates don't break out. How can you look at this and think that this is how society should be arranged, that it is sane and tolerable to even be in such a situation where there are regularly armed people strolling around looking to gun down troublemakers? How is any of this different to, say, Brazil (the 80s movie) or any other similar fictional dystopian visions of the future?
