You know what's really cursed, I'm sure there's redpillers who would disagree with this.

She was forced by her biology, Elon is mega monies and dominance hierarchy! (too tired to do the siLly vOicE thing)

But maybe it's a brain tumor. jfc. I should go to bed. but for real I'm just hoping for the day she offs Elon in his sleep.
maybe people should troll her about Bostrom and the treacherous turn, just plant some seeds. >_<

yeah i only ever listened to the music, and vaguely recalled that sexual harassment allegation against a producer.
so assumed she was feminist and didn't look further than that. at least until Musk came around.
but even then I was more inclined to trust Grimes than to distrust Musk.

I'm just pissed that a few of her songs meant a lot to me.

I always just thought that anything that implies a significant number of people are not liking your tweet while still engaging with it counts as a ratio. I don't know what else you'd call this

Love supporting "trans", but not enough to sacrifice the aesthetics of my twitter bio. That's just a step too far.

Lol and he immediately followed up with a tweet mentioning Tesla got a 100/100 on some LGBTQ rating for business, as though using an HR initiative for publicity means he isn't a bigot.

I worked at a place that was "certified living wage" and they paid me $5/hr and refused to hire women lol

A place I used to work at was doing a website redesign. We had a meeting about what to do about our "team" page because leadership was all white and only had one woman. We went through options like not including pictures, adding women and minorities who weren't in executive positions, or waiting until we hired more people with diverse backgrounds. We paraded women and minorities around the office to take pictures for the website. Eventually they did hire a black woman to an executive position but she was fired within did months (granted she did kind of deserve it). The way a lot of companies use diversity initiatives and rhetoric is extremely cynical.

When you support “trans” so much you don’t even refer to them as people.

I’m sure Musk supports “trans” about as much as he supports trains.

It would be a good bit as like "Imagine if a guy who was really fucking stupid thought he was smart, what would he say". But then they made that guy real, the madlads.

      yes, thats fine.

even when someone identifies as [gender] and uses [gender] pronouns, the english language is formatted such that in certain instances you refer to them as "they/them" because its a gender-absent pronoun native to the language. so literally no one thats a reasonable humanbean will be upset at you for using that as the default when you dont know the correct pronoun to use

that said, pls make an effort to use the pronouns people refer to themselves as once youre aware of them, because it will make them happy, which is good.

like, personally, someone using "they" to refer to me is perfectly fine, but i dont identify with that pronoun, so it would be even better if they just didnt use pronouns at all

What happens sometimes is that cis people only use they/them for a trans woman because they're uncomfortable with referring to her with she/her, which is... pretty shitty

yeah, and thats not cool at all, those people are terfs and get the wall. refer to folks by their prefered pronoun.

using they/them rather than a potentially wrong gendered pronoun as a default term is fine, but efforts should be made to find out the prefered terms of any person youre interacting with so that you can correctly gender them, was my point.

I imagine there are people that might not want to be referred to that way for reasons other than "they isn't a real word!!", but it seems inoffensive enough. I do think it would be good for English to move towards less linguistic gendering overall, sort of like Turkish or Mandarin.
